1. Player Code of Conduct


St. Andrew’s Netball Club are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all our members. The club believes it is important that members, coaches, administrators, and parents associated with the club should always show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to always be open and share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Ann Lafferty, Chairperson.

As a member of St Andrew’s Netball Club, you are expected to abide by the following club rules:
• Members should be on time for training and competitions or inform their coach if they are going to be late or are unable to attend.
• Members must wear suitable attire and refrain from wearing jewellery.
• Warm up is an essential part of training and games. To prevent injury and be fully focussed for training/games all players must participate fully in this.
•Members must inform the head coach of any injuries or illness they may have before the warm-up begins and of specific rehab if required.
• Treat teammates opponents, coaches, officials and equipment with respect.
• As Netball Scotland guidelines, netball should be a drug free environment.
• Respond promptly to invites to training and games, keeping in touch via your relevant group.
